Fantastic results at out first competition of the year ... the VKL MELBOURNE OPEN!

What an incredible start to the competition season! Our Shuhari Shotokan Karate Australia team put on a fantastic performance, demonstrating not only their skill but also true karate spirit.

From our youngest competitors to our seasoned athletes, everyone gave it their all, showing great determination, discipline, and respect. We had outstanding performances across all divisions, with lots podium finishes, and moments of pure grit and perseverance.

More importantly, the camaraderie and support within the team was inspiring to see. Whether competing or cheering from the side-lines, everyone embodied the essence of karate—striving for excellence while lifting each other up.

Congratulations to all competitors, coaches, and supporters! This is just the beginning of what promises to be a great year. Let’s keep the momentum.
